Lights out at ROAD AMERICA and 13 drivers rolled into a Dry 24°C afternoon.
The opening lap cost a few places, but the order settled quickly.
By mid race you could see two trains forming, gaps opening where pace or tyres bit harder.
The log logged 6 car contact reports, enough to keep hearts in mouths without turning the whole grid into a demolition derby. 3 cars did not see the chequered.
When the flag fell, Luciano Ichazo had done the homework. Same track, same pressure, different outcome at the top.
